Predikt immediately recruits ten experts in first year
No fewer than 1,000 applicants applied to young start-up

Leuven 2 June 2025 - Belgian-Swiss start-up Predikt, which specialises in helping procurement and finance teams turn market fluctuations into actionable cost insights, is growing at a fast pace. In less than a year, the company expanded its team including 10 specialised employees from academia, consultancy and AI sectors. Predikt's appeal as a workplace and the platform's potential are showcased by the number of applicants. More than 1,000 interested applicants submitted their CVs for the Chief of Staff position at the young start-up.
In a volatile market, procurement teams need to make increasingly quick and precise strategic decisions. Predikt provides a platform that supports companies in sourcing raw materials, semi-finished goods and products by combining more than 10 million macroeconomic signals with internal company data. This not only gives organisations better insight into their own cost structure and financial planning, but also into broader market trends, growth opportunities and the risks within their supply chain. The start-up, founded in May 2024, raised €750,000 at the end of the same year, followed by another €1.25 million early this year. With these capital injections, the team continues to expand the platform and add new functionalities. A large part of that investment will go towards expanding the team.
Ambition
To fulfil its growth ambitions, Predikt has been building a diverse team in recent months, filled with specialised profiles. Between October and November 2024, the focus was on technical positions, such as experts in AI development, AI research, infrastructure and software. With the technology base now firmly in place, the start-up is focusing on commercial and operational profiles in a second round of recruitment.
The most recent addition to the team is a Chief of Staff, Pauline Jacobs, who will further professionalise the operational and commercial structures. A part-time Product Manager was also recruited who will contribute to product development and the team has been strengthened with a Fractional Chief Marketing Officer, who will focus on strategically building the marketing approach and brand positioning. Moreover, a new Chief Revenue Officer will start in June, whose sales experience will support the optimisation of the sales strategy and the achievement of growth targets.
More than 1,000 applicants
Predikt attracts a lot of attention. For the recently opened Chief of Staff position, the company received more than 1,000 applications, a clear signal that both the market and professionals believe in Predikt's mission. More than 300 people also applied for other positions each time.
‘2024 was a year full of milestones. Barely ten months ago, Samuel, Vincent and myself founded Predikt,’ says Nick Vandesype, CEO of Predikt. ‘Our rapid growth shows that procurement teams worldwide need smarter, data-driven insights. This requires not only strong technology, but also an exceptional team. The fact that we are generating so much interest in a short amount of time is no coincidence. We have a clear growth strategy and offer our employees maximum flexibility. They decide how, where and when they work. Some team members choose to work longer days and take more rest elsewhere. That autonomy is one of our strongest assets.’
