Klarrio names Lieven Gesquière as Senior Director of Core R&D

ANTWERP, BELGIUM— 23 July 2026— Klarrio, a leading developer of Open Source software solutions and complex data platforms, has named Lieven Gesquière as Senior Director of Core Research & Development.

Gesquière will be responsible for overseeing Klarrio’s R&D teams and processes at all of the company’s five offices in Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, and the United States. He will also manage all R&D resources, in addition to playing a strategic role in helping Klarrio ​ scale its end-to-end cloud-native solutions as technology continues to evolve in the future.

“I consider my primary job to be to prepare Klarrio R&D for its next significant growth cycle, while fostering ongoing growth and talent in our technical and managerial capabilities system-wide,” Gesquière said. ​

Gesquière first joined Klarrio in October 2024 and previously served as Sr. Director Technology—Roadmap and Vision. He holds a Masters Degree in Electronics but has been passionate about computer technology since his early teens.
