DRIVECO and Equilis join forces to roll out fast charging stations  

Waterloo, 19 November 2025 – DRIVECO, European market leader in charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, and real estate developer Equilis announce an agreement for the rollout of fast-charging stations at retail parks in Belgium. The collaboration is in line with their shared ambition to make sustainable mobility a natural part of everyday life. 

This partnership makes DRIVECO the preferred partner for the installation and operation of charging infrastructure at Equilis. The first project will take place in Melle, near Ghent. There, DRIVECO will install three 200 kW fast chargers at a retail site hosting well-known brands such as Action, Zeeman, Pronti, JBC and Kruidvat. The fast chargers are expected to be operational in the summer of 2026. 

“We want to make charging as accessible as possible and therefore integrate it seamlessly into consumers' daily lives,” says Victor de Vilmorin, Country Manager of DRIVECO Belgium. “Equilis' retail parks are ideal for this: easily accessible, attracting strong footfall, well equipped and convenient for the drivers. While customers enjoy their shopping, their cars can charge from 20% to 80 % in just 20 minutes”.

Strategic locations 

The planned charging stations will be available 24/7 and equipped with fast-charging technology. With this, DRIVECO is responding to the growing demand for fast, reliable, and user-friendly charging at strategic locations.
